Naperville Police busted a prostitution ring Thursday, September 16 and arrested six people who were using Internet sites to arrange trysts at hotels and motels on Chicago's North Side.

The Naperville Police Department's Special Operations Group headed the investigation, which found that the suspected prostitutes were posting an array of services on the Internet, according to news release the department distributed around 1:15 P.M. Friday.

Naperville Police Sgt. John McAnally said Friday the suspects were using the website http://www.backpage.com but noted that Internet prostitution is very prevalent on many different sites. The six people who were arrested had been under investigation for about two weeks, he said.
