Contracted with Ron Lewis, owner of Sure-Lok Homes for replacement windows. The brand he demontrated was Soft-Lite Pro vinyl clad double-hung windows. I ordered them in the company's powder coated exterior beige* I also ordered 2 double casement windows in the same exterior color. What he gave me were white exterior vinyl windows that he hand painted a dark beige. Noticing this after the windows were installed on my second floor, I asked why he gave me hand painted white windows. Ron Lewis told me I was better off because the Soft-Lite's beige exterior would peel on me. I told him if I wanted white painted windows I would have contacted for white windows and painted them myself. Also, because he painted the casement windows - and the weatherstripping, they would not open. They stuck and the only way to open them was to remove the screens and push the glass open. It took 2 months for him to come and replace the weather-stripping. Beware of sure-lok homes!!!
