I had joined national fitness in charleston south carolina in 2009. Sicne i travel and get transfered from job to job quite often i specifically asked the question about terminating the agreement should i be transfered. The reply from the manager was to just supply them with a letter stating the reason. I complied with their request. Two months later i recieve a phone call stating i am being charged for the account which was now in arrears. After a lenghty discussion with the representative (as there were no national fitness centers in my area at that time) it was agreed to fax a copy of some type of bill statement with my florida address and this will be corrected. This was done. Now, three years later i check my credit score and national fitness has placed a derogatory statement to the credit companies, equifax, experian and trans union. I want this deleted immediately. I have complied with all contract obligations. Now its your turn. Your immediate response will be welcomed as i wish to keep this matter out of the court systems.
