To make a very long story short, it took 8 seperate phone calls and 8 different people, 2 of which were to call back if we were disconnected and did not, to get a simple order placed to have the cable TV from Time Warner disconnected from my home. I know this type of strategy is used by many companies to avoid customer calls so the company can continue to charge you hoping you will give up or hang up after staying on hold for hours. It is time the FCC put a stop to it. Time Warner should be fined heavily for this scandalis scheme.
