I was looking to purchase a pure bred German Shepherd puppy, when I came across an ad for a puppy for sale on Global free classifieds ad. The ad said the location was in Tacoma, Wa. And was selling a puppy for $200 so I emailed the man asking him about the pup and my interest in the pup he then told me that he was in New Jersey because of a change of job and that the puppies was with him. He told me he would ship the pup to me by air and that it would cost $300 He also told me I would have to pay the shippers not him. The shipping company is called King Pet Shippers. They wanted our full names, address and phone numbers which my husband and I provided. Later the shipping company called my husband about payment and emailed me saying we had to pay by western union and so my husband sent the $300 to them. The info they gave us to wire the money was Armstong ChiH and to send the money to Cameroon with the zip code 00237. I have saved all the emails by the way. After the money was sent they sent an email to me saying the received our payment and that our pup will be flown to Wa then van to our home. That we can expect delivery at 6:20 am the morning of the 9th of August. Then later that night I got another email telling me I have to pay more money for puppy insurance and to feed the pup I knew then it was a scam. My husband tried to call these people and they wouldn't answer their phone. I emailed the man who claimed to have shipped the pup and he told me to trust him that it wasn't a scam even though I kept insisting it was. Later that same man tried to tell me I need to pay another hundred dollars to receive the puppy. I told that man I know it is a scam and he stole from me and that I am going to report him to anyone that I could. He acted like he didn't care and continued to try and con me into spending more money. I told him my husband is in the army and that I was going to Jag and he told me ok and to keep him informed. I asked him several times to refund my money back to me and he would dance around my request and try to get me to spend more money. I told him any other company would refund money to their customers if the customer was not happy this man would not refund me. I told him then I will cut my losses and make several reports to who ever I have to, to insure no one else would be scammed the way I was. This man is using a puppy to scam people. He even sent me pictures of this puppy and everything. I know I may not ever get my money back but I feel robbed, violated and something needs to be done. I know it wasn't a great deal of money just $300 but it is the point. If this man cons enough people out of $300 all that will add up to thousands of dollars. I am not sure what else to do. I have contacted my bank and western union and both can not help me. Please tell me what I should do. I am scared because I have gotten into arguments with this man I sent him pictures of my family my kids and other pets at his request because he wanted to know if my family was good enough for his puppy. He has my phone number my husbands phone number, our address, and our full names I am afraid of what could happen. I live on a military base but I am still afraid so please tell me what I can do? Is there a way for me to get my money back? Please let me know.
