RainSoft Water Softene
False Advertisement

Here is a letter that I sent to RainSoft:

I signed up for a $20 gift card from Home Depot. Supposedly No obligation. I find out that in order to get this “ (No Obligation)” gift card, there is an obligation. I have to let someone test my water. Ok, I let them test my water. It turns into this hour long sales pitch and the person doing the “test” insists on my handicap husband stand in the kitchen for long periods of time. He has 3 crushed discs. He couldn’t’ stand any longer and moved to the dining room. We ask the price of what she was selling so that he could go take his pain pills and go to bed. She told us the price and we said we were not interested. Because my husband couldn’t stand by her side she said he was not participating. All of a sudden the $20 gift card is not here but somewhere else and possible would have to be mailed to us. I will be contacting Home Depot corporate office, Rain Soft corporate office and the Better Business Bureau to inform them of the false advertising and the bait and switch routine that your company has in place.
