I went on the SONY Store website and ordered a SONY EC series laptop computer. The SONY website showed the finsh on the EC to be flat black or very dark flat charcoal. However, when I received the unit, I found that what they had sent me was not what they had displayed on their website. The Technical specs were OK, but the finish was a mirror finish high gloss black.
I immediately called SONY and told them that I didn't want to own it, and I asked for return instructions. SONY dragged their feet at every stage of the process. They said that I needed a return authorization number, but then they would not produce it. On two phone call occasions, they said that they would send it in an email within 24 hours, and twice they did not send it. It took me three phone calls to get the return authorization number and shipping instructions.
I followed their return instructions exactly, used their chosen carrier, and I have confirmation from FEDEX that SONY received it and signed for it, but dispite several phone calls and email exchanges trying to get my money back, they are withholding my money.
