I am a Vietnam Veteran with 20 years of active Service. Last Veterans day, I saw on the internet that Subway was offering a free 6" sub to veterans. I went to the Subway in Hayfield Shopping Center on Telegraph road in Alexandria, Va. When I asked for the free sub, I was told "We did not subscribe to that". I replied "Congratulations". He replied rather sarcastically "Thank You". Although I realize they did not have to subscribe to the giveaway, I will always boycott this Subway, who's owners could not afford to give a small sandwich to a Veteran. If you are a Veteran or if you appreciate what Veterans do and have done for this country, you are also invited to boycott this establishment.
