I put fifteen dollars worth of regular gas into my 2007 Hyundai Elantra Limited, paid in cash (as I had left my credit card home and only had $15.00 on me at the time.) I know my car very well, and the gas gauge always moves appropriately to reflect the added gas. On this occassion my car had JUST registered "empty" & I did not drive around with it on empty, and I had now wanted to put some gas in until I had access to my credit card the next day, when I would then fill it up. After putting the Regular gas in - the gas gauge didn't move at all - I drove around the block to see if this would help, to no avail. I then drove back to the station and told the girl what happened, and she was very rude, blaming me and saying there must be something wrong with my gas gauge. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused to call him/her. She gave me the number of "Tawana", the manager. Then she insulted me and said $15.00 isn't very much gas. The gas at this station is $4.09 / gallon. But with $15.00, this would add at least 3.6 gallons to my fuel tank, which would normally cause some movement of the gas gauge, at least TO A QUARTER OF A TANK. My car is a well-maintained 2007 Hyundai Elantra, and has never given me a problem with the gas gauge. I have the receipt for this transaction and asked for my money back, because I received NOTHING for my fifteen dollars. The girl refused my request, she and her assistant were extremely defensive and rude, which is why I am suspicious that something fishy is going on at this station. Thankfully it was a small amount of money, but I don't like wasting or losing money, however small the amount. Thank you. A. Rudolph
