Locked Washrooms

Washrooms are locked and patrons must be buzzed in to access them. There are no signs on the door, and many new customers to these locations, bang and push on the door trying to open them, not realizing they much ask the staff to buzz them in.

This creates frustration to many of the new customers and also to the regular customers who have to tell them to get to the staff to let them in. We are seniors who visit this location daily. We have brought this problem to the attention to the owners, through verbal and written (suggestions), but to no avail. They agree with the suggestion, but have not done anything to rectify this problem. This problem has been going on for over two years. Worst concern is the owners also own a Tim Hortons Outlet in downtown Kamloops (Landsdown), also having locked washrooms, but in this location they do have a sign on the washrooms, advising the patrons to contact the staff for admittance.

In many cases we have seen these new customers just leave in frustration, too desperate to even place an order from the front counter.

To add a sign to the washroom door "Contact Staff for admittance" would make it a lot easier on the new customers to this location, and save the frustration from current customers of having to explain how to access the washroom, on a daily basis..
