I saw an ad for weight loss supplement from facebook and click on the ad. The website is very tempting for customer to believe and has review from the news reporter. She tried the products and had success story, here is the website: http://chan-8-news.com/healthy/? T202id=6212t202kw=9&referer=www.facebook.com. I found out it was a scam website from the company after I ordered the supplement (The website that is look like the news channel 8 website but when I clicked on the weather tab or any tab that they have for choices did not work. When I click, it just go to the nutraslim website. From there I feel suspicious about this.
They offer a free trial and just charged us for the minimal shipping fee. If we cancel within 14 days and return the bottles with the RMA #. (You have to call them and cancel in order to get the RMA#). They said they will not charge me the next month. I do not like that they will charge me on my credit card automaticly every month if I did not cancel the account and return the bottles. So, I returned the trial bottles as soon as I got the packages to avoid the bill before I even try the supplement to see the results. I did returned 2 bottles and followed what they asked me to. I mailed the package certified mail with the proof from the post office. I checked the delivery status and it shows that they recieved the package.
I took the supplements and I did not feel well and I just waited for couple of weeks and did not see the result at all. So, I stopped taking the supplements.
The next month after I did the return and I check my status online about my account to make sure it was canceled, they still charged my credit card for $79.99 plus foreign bank fee $2.95. (this company is based in UK they said) I called the customer service and when I call them, they always have a high volume of calls and have to wait for 30 minutes. Finally they picked up and after talked to the customer service and asked why I was being charged, she said what she saw in her system that just one bottle returned, it does not make sense to me because I put 2 bottles in the same envelope when I returned the products. She said it was a small mistake and she will send my problem to the head quarter and I will recieved the refund within 10 days the most.
After waiting for a week. I still has not seen any refund in my credit card account. I called again and the customer service told me to wait again and check my credit card if I have not get the refund, I can call back. A week went by and I still have not gotten my refund, and when I check my credit card account they charged me for another small amount of $1.95 2 times from nutraslim and quick detox.
I called them back, so now is already more than 2 weeks after my frist call. I waited for about 30 minutes for them to pick up the phone. I asked why there are charges of $1.95? And I have not got my refund back for $79.99. He said it was a system error and I will get a refund for that small fees. I started to talked about my problem and the customer service did not seem want to help and not listening and sounded irritated. He asked me again to wait for the refund. I got no answer and feel useless talking to them like talking to the wall.
I think when you call them they make you wait on purpose so you do not want to wait that long and hang up. So they can avoid talking to you. I even emailed them 2 times to the customer support but they had never email me back.
Yesterday I google the nutraslim.com scam and there I found some people had the same situation as me. So, now I know for sure that this company is a scam and the charges is not a mistake but a scam. Please help to stop this company and do not let this company get more money from other people.
