On 6/2 I thought I was purchasing a first level of bids to try out Zbiddy. I quickly learned I was charged $159. I read the following:
I tried to call immediately to cancel but was not successful due to the limited customer service hours. I did send a quick e-mail because the agreement indicated a refund would be available if you were notified quickly.
“Right to cancel: You may cancel your contract within 14 days in written form (e.G. Letter, e-mail), calling (888) 406-6509.”
I did send e-mail to the address on the site but got a return saying that person was not part of zbiddy. I did finally make contact with customer service and spoke to Malcolm on 6/3. He offered me the opportunity to keep my bids and send me a $100 restaurant gift card. I felt this was a reasonable compromise.
I, unfortunately, have not yet received the card.
I have tried the program and unless you are willing to stay on site for hours, there is no way to win without luck.
The other issue is customer service is only open 4 hours M-F. Also, the e-mail address is phoney and they don't provide an address to complain to.
Very bocus operation.
