I took a hosting membership with free domain name from fatcow.com. I thought it was a green envioment conscious honest hosting company. I realized only ten minutes later that I could not get the service or help I needed and that it was not as user friendly as I had thought and tried to get out of membership immediately the same hour I joined. After a great many phone calls trying to get the billing department, emails and chats I was getting no where.
Finally they agreed to give me a refund but only a partial refund stating they do not refund the products purchased. The products can only be used if one has a hosting account and I never had a chance to use them. That is theft and a a scam. They clearly state you can cancel within thirty days. However thay do not mention that they will keep all monies you give as much as they possibly can get away with witin seconds for products you will never use. Each time I tried to get the billing department I was put on hold for over ten minutes and disconnected. Never have I had problems like this. They refuse to refund my FULL paypal payment of $122.00. The sum I paid and asked to be returned within minutes.
