I just signed up for Zbiddy to look around and see if i wanted to try and bid on anything. Well after seeing several signs saying registration is FREE, i signed up and put my card number in thinking that of course they aren't going to charge me on a sign up screen without really telling me. And what do you know! I few seconds later i looked on my BofA account and i have a 69 dollar charge! If any thing i was only going to spend like 10 bucks for a couple bids to see how the site worked... Not 69 bucks! So i called the customer service number and the lady told me she can do a 50% refund and then would give me another 50 bids for free. I said okay, not too satisfied. After thinking about it for a couple hours, i decided i wanted ALL my money back. So i called my bank and told them the situation and they temp. Put the funds back in my account and sent out some claim information for me to fill out.
In the mean while, I looked on Zbiddy's site and without luck couldn't find anywhere to cancel my account. So i called customer service again, demanded my 69 dollars back and telling them to cancel the account. I now have two refunds coming my way from them for the amount of 34.50 and my account was cancelled. They do business very tricky but if you demand and let them know that you already contacted your bank on the situation, they will handle things pretty quickly.
