Complaint / review text:
The driver currently on the route for deliveries to my home is not providing the level of service and professionalism I have always experienced with UPS both at home and places I work.
At Christmas, he left a small box containing a kindle reader I bought from amazon.com on my front steps in plain sight. Previous drivers would always take a package that small and place it behind my screen door, so it wouldn't be visible.
The day of that delivery, everyone happened to be working so no one was here to receive the package...
This morning, I went outside to pick up the morning paper and saw a large box again on my front steps. The box contains makeup supplies I use for my job, which I ordered specifically timed ot be delivered on a day I wold be home, as the products should NOT be out in extreme temperatures. Obviously, they were out all night in freezing cold. I am particularly annoyed because I was home all day and night yesterday, and had he so much as knocked on the door I could have taken my products inside.
He didn't even knock.
I'm sorry, but this is substandard service, very surprising from UPS.
If my products are unusable, you will be hearing more from me about this, as the situation was entirely preventable with a modicum of care on the driver's part.
