I was googling to find bookreaders, when the bidrack site came up with a kindle in bid around $15. I knew i would not get a $15 kindle but thought it was like ebay and i'ld bid and get a good price. They asked you to register and give a credit card, i thought so if you won you would pay. When it "sold" i begin to feel funny and started clicking on my account info on their site and saw they had charged my visa $99.
I called their "customer service" no. And the man was very hostile, saying I chose a package for $99. When i told him i did not choose anything he kept insisting i did, than finally admotted there was a "disclaimer on the credit card info page saying i would be chared $99. I did not see that either. He offered me 50 bids and dept insisting i should have read all their disclaimers. I felt i was stuck and had been stupid. I tried to bid, and it was like you were bidding against a computer, it seemed like a fraud, so i contacted visa and and disputing the charge.
