My husband's laptop crashed approximately 2 months ago while he's been deployed. Sony sent a letter in the mail stating that his warranty expires on July 18th. After calling them and explaining to them that he was deployed and we didn't have a way to get it to them because he won't be home before the warranty expires. They told me I'll have to pay either $190.75 for another year of the warranty or $402.75 for a 3 year warranty. They weren't willing to work with him at all. Looks like I won't be buying Sony products anymore!
