A man by the Name of Johnny Garcia placed a Craigslist advertisement for a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport XLT. I exchanged emails with him and he told me that he was out of town for his daughters wedding. He told me about NAT and that they could process the vehicles transaction for me. My immediate thought was SCAM but I decided to research it a bit nonetheless. I looked at various reviews and websites and could find nothing but raving customers who had pleasant transactions with NAT. The website stated that one should try to avoid scams by making sure all e-mail correspondence was by netassistanttrader.com— anything else was probably a scam. I e-mailed customer service and asked for their confirmation that the seller was legitimately registered with them and that the vehicle was in their custody. They confirmed both. Because of the 10day return guarantee, I decided to take a chance and purchase the vehicle. I sent payment to Barclays in London and have yet received notice that my payment was received. I sent several messages to NAT and have received no responses from them whatsoever. I am at a loss as to what to do. These people are disgusting.
