Superior Benefits contacted me in October and I was promised a $2,000 credit card. So I authorized $299.00 be withdrawn from my checking account with the understand that the $299.00 was the fee for purchase of the credit card.

No credit card has been sent to me thus far and today is February 13 and 15-25 working days was the promised time frame to expect the credit card at my home. A packet of information was sent to me via Federal Express which did not arrive until late December. The packet of information is useless to me. I have returned the packet to Superior Benefits.

I have made nearly weekly telephone inquiries and I talked to numerous customer service representatives at Superior Benefits. I have been told everything from "The credit cards is in the mail to you and will arrive the nd of this week" to "You need to do something to improve your credit before the credit card will be sent to you." There were no such stipulations made at the time fo the initial telephone conversation.

My car was totaled in a car accident in the Fall of 2003 and I was going to use the credit card to pay sales tax, property tax and registration due on the replacement vehicle I had to purchase. Since the $2,000 credit card never came, as promised by Superior Benefits, I ahd to obtain a personal loan from my boss to make the car legal to operate in the State of Kansas. The failed promise of Superior Benefits has caused me personal inconvenience.in other words, had I known that Superior Benefits was not going to keep their word, I would have pursued other avenues for obtaining financing of sales tax, property tax and registration for my vehicle.

I have never done business with such a poorly-run company. Customer representatives treat customers as though the customers just don't understand anything. They have insulted everything from my intelligence to my credit rating, which according to their initial telephone call had nothing to do with their promise of a $2,000 credit card.

At the very least, I expect Superior Benefits to fully refund the $299.00 that was withdrawn from my checking account in October since they did not provide the services promised. A full apology for being in error would also be the courteous thing for the company to do.

I appreciate this opportunity to file this report as I have no other avenue or recourse. Any company making promises to customers should be held accountable for their business practices. I trust this report will reach the appropriate people.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
