Promise $100.00 cash, bonus week & a discount back to attend updt. Told meeting would be appx 90 min but was several hrs. Spk w/Tom M. Aftr telling him svrl times not for us, he called in Ramona D. Tom told us that we as “endless escape” owners, would benefit more than new ownrs, because we can bank our new blue week & split it up, take 2 days of our week & add to 6 nights of the endless escape red week & get confirmed resvr as far as a yr or more out. I questioned him & he said absolutely! I asked Ramona & she said “yes” you certainly can.”
We were told another company was in process of purchsng Silver Leaf & that will give owners access to 17 more rsrts to use in the Silver Leaf fam w/Bonus time & in-hse xchng. Told Pinnacle Lodge in Co could now be used as in-hse xchng as well as bonus time. Tom told us that the Diamond Plus program has a VIP phn nbr & we wld nvr have to wait for assist, wld have pri & be assisted immediately. I called the VIP nbr & was told they wld call me bck, I waited all day & ltr in the day I had to call again & finally got an answer.
Ramona said the tot to be fin is $5,771.00 after the dwn pmt of $725.00. I asked about closing cost ect & Ramona said “no, that is the tot you will have to pay.” We ended up with 3 bonus wks aftr signing, asked Tom if we could bnk w/RCI & he said, “yes I believe you can.” Same day, I read the bonus wk bklt & fnd bonus wks could only be used at Ozark Mt or Holiday Hills Rsrts. That was not good for us. I called Tom on his cell (he said if we needed anything call him, he will always answr). He didn’t. I called Ramona. She assured me not to worry, she will get me where ever I want to go. She noted my rqst. She said, call her on Mon. Tom called me nxt day & I told him I had talked to Ramona & told him what she said & he told me to trust her, she can do this, she has worked for corp & could do things he can’t. I called Ramona bck on Mon, she told Lettie she was busy so I left a msg. I did not hear bck frm her. I called Tom & Ramona sev times left msgs w/Kayla & Lettie.
During the grace period, they kept assuring me they are ‘working on this.” After the 5 days passed, they were not so helpful. I did talk to Ramona about my frustration, she asked me for the date & places again for the bonus time rqsts. This call Ramona said “hold on & let me ask Lettie if she will look into this.” She came bck to phn & said “Lettie is not in today.” I told her Lettie was there, Lettie was the one that answered the phone when I called & xferd me to her. She said hold on, she came back & said Lettie had already left for the day, still early? Ramona said she had rqsted a week for me & had not heard back. I called the VIP nbr & they did not have a rqst & I told Ramona this & she said, they would not have it, since she rqsted through a diff channel, resrvs shd have a rqst on file if one was made.
Lots of things they told us, seemed not so true after the 5 days passed. We are close to 70 yrs & on a fixed income & I think this type of sales method should be prohibited. We were out of the country for 3 wks, I spk w/Kayla before we left. She knew how many times I called & never got a call back frm Tom & Ramona. I told her all the prom made & she said ”snds like they shd have made sure you had a red week frm all they told you guys.” She said she had rqsted a bonus week from corp since the week we purchased had already passed when we purchased. Was not aware we purchased a week already passed and can’t use for another yr! On Fri, Apr 28 I called & spk w/Kayla. She will let Tom & Ramona know I called. Next day I got a call frm Tom on my mach. I returned his call & Kayla answred, I asked for Tom, he was busy, asked if she turned all over to Tom & she said ‘yes.’ Haven’t heard back frm anyone!
