I called Roto-Rooter (800-768-6911) on Friday May 6, to unclog my kitchen sink. Guy arrives on time, works for a few minutes, couldn't find clog with his few moments of snaking then guessed problem was unvented pipe. We explained that pipe has never been vented in 7 years and it has NEVER clogged before. Roto-Rooter guy demands $150.00 even though we were all still looking at my clogged sink. The Roto-Rooter man leaves my place a mess and leaves my house angry. I called the same number (800-768-6911) back on Monday morning, May 9 and they tell me that they are calling their attorney. I hope they do because we called another plumber on Saturday May 7, who found the clog and fixed the problem in a little more than 1 hour. No Clog... Ha. Roto-Rooter?! Bottom line, don't call Roto-Rooter, call your local plumber they will fix your problem!
