I sent my daughter in to prepay for gas at 4:30 pm. After a moment, I got out of the car and went to the pump to prepare to pump the gas. The screen told me to pick up the nozzle, which I did. I pressed the type of gas I wanted, nothing happened. So I waited for them to do whatever they need to do. Linda comes out yelling, "what are you wanting to do?" I respond, " wanting to pump gas." She yells, "Hang up the nozzle! Can't you read?". There is a paper taped on the gas pump which says, "hang up the nozzle and come inside." Well, yes, I did see that, but since my daughter was inside paying, I figured I had that covered. I explained that, but she continues yelling, " we can't do anything till you hang up the nozzle!" Alright, I hang it up, but add that the screen instructed me to pick up the nozzle. She shakes her head saying, " it also tells you to hang up the nozzle!"
Meanwhile my daughter returns and tells me that this Linda made a loud commotion about the woman who can't read, and that she will have to go teach her how to read. When my daughter paid, the cashier, Lisa, asked her for what vehicle it was for, my daughter answered, "for the woman who can't read." No apology was offered her from Lisa.insulting, humiliating. And on top of it, I gave them money.
