I stopped at this convience store this morning on my way to work to fill up with gas. I pulled in to the # 4 stall and stuck the hose in the tank and locked the lever on automatic. As I was talking on the phone to my husband I over heard a spillage of liquid hitting the ground. I turned to look and behold the gas was gushing out of the gas tank on to the ground. I hurried over to the nozzle and unlock the lever that did not automatically go off once the tank is full and put the nozzle back in the meter.By then the amount on the meter read $64.27. I went in to the store to tell the clerk what had happened and I told him that the pump was broken, because it should have stopped automatically and not overflow.
I got the managers name, but I don't know what good that will do, so I first wanted to let someone know before I talk to that manager. I have a 2007 Fusion and I have never experienced filling up with gas for $64.27 until now.
