The sales associate, Lainey did not ask me for my MVP card, and when I told her about it she told me that it's not her responsibility to ask the customers for their MVP card. She said if I wanted to use my card that I need to get it out first the next time and it was too late to credit the discount to my purchase order. She rather argue with me instead of fixing the problem. So I had to ask her if she could fix my purchase and credit my discount to my groceries. After that she decided to call someone to fix the mistake. I told her that instead of arguing with the customer, she should try making the customer satisfied. They fixed my purchase price and I did ask for the manager. She showed poor customer satisfaction.

I want this problem with the sale associate handled. I am NOT happy with the situation. I work with customers everyday and never have I disagreed with the customer the way she did. Since this Food Lion is not required to ask the customers for their card then I think the cards should not be issued there. Sometimes we do forget to pull our cards out and when they remind us it makes us happy. I will be contacting the general manager tomorrow and if the problem is not resolved, I will go to the corporation.
