My company CEO wanted to go "green" with IT - meaning that she wanted to make our servers "virtual", and instead of using regular PC's - use virtual desktops for our 800 person bank.
I didnt know who to call, so I asked around in our IT department, and one of them did a little searching and came up with a small outfit nearby (were in Washington DC area).
Joe from Eastnet.com came out, worked us up a bid to convert from physical servers to virtual servers, and said he was going to make us Farmers with a virtual server "farm".
It took about 2 weeks, but now we are the proudest and greenest bank in our industry. We got a lot of attention from trade press about what Joe did for us, and after some analysis, looks like we will get payback on our investment in just another 10 months.
