I utilized Hughes Net because of living in a rural area and it was the only internet provider I could get (now thankfully I have Comcast). I worked from home and had an internet meeting and no surprise here, my Hughes Net was out. It was unusable 3 weeks out of 4 that month. I called tech support several times that month to no avail. I cancelled the service and paid $284.54 for an early cancellation fee-I also disputed the $119.99 for the month of service I did not receive. Now, THREE YEARS later, out of the blue, I get with no warning a collection letter for the $119.99. I called Hughes Net and they said we can't do anything about it. Pure theft! I got no service, they will damage my credit if I don't pay this. Never let anyone you know use them!
