This place is nothing more than a white ghetto, not because of the people that live their but because of the people running it. Mary Jarvis is almost as big of a crook as her new husband the Unhonorable Judge Marshall T. Jarvis.
When Mary came to this town she was a decent woman and her husband Jim was a decent man. They purchased the Northern Lites Ice cream stand and made an honest living. Jim soon went to work at Sunmount, fell terminally ill and they sold the ice cream stand. Mary went to work at Ivy Terrace as Executive Director of The Tupper Lake Housing Authority.
One year after both their spouses died Marshall and Mary joined together as husband and wife. Mary now drives a big beautiful Cadillac. It seems like Ivy Terrace is receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars of federal funds every other year or so but I have yet to see any major improvements. I do see additions and minor improvements but thats just to make it look good as they pocket the money for their own retirement fund.
This is supposed to be a place for low income people yet, the people are getting screwed over because the rent goes by gross pay. If you get a raise of 50.00 dollars more a month your rent goes up by 60.00.
