Yeah right...
I have got to say that the people running Tupper Lake are either naive or out to fill their pockets and don't really give a damn about helping this dying, decaying community out. When a person goes through our town all they see is houses for sale, empty buildings, vacant lots where buildings once stood, and old decreped buildings that are really dangerous to people and are an eyesore to the public.
I remember once when Ed the founder of this web site usacomplaints.com came to Tupper to make decent housing that was needed and tried to actually help the people of Tupper Lake out.
The ED from this site once owned this building, and he had turned it into something Tupper Lake can be proud of and provided housing for those in need. I'm sure many Tupper Lakers can remember this and all the other properties ED renovated to help meet the much needed housing. Today, it is run down, owned by the former Mayor and or his son... They also own the local junk yard, and have ruined this neighborhood like they have pretty much everywhere else. This is an example of our town's past and present leadership, obviously this shows absolutely no respect for Tupper Lake and its residents and what they are doing to everyone else's property values. Who would want to live here, this building is at the beginning of Town, nice welcome mat, huh.
Another outsider that tired to make things better was Roger Jakabouski of Big Tupper Ski Resort. These two gentlemen were stonewalled and railroaded out of Tupper Lake because the village fathers feared outsiders. These two guys did nothing wrong, but were forced out of here for no good reason, jealousy. I have seen Tupper Lake steadily going downhill for years now and it's not going to get any better without help from people with ideas and money.
