In the past 24 hours I was made aware of an error on my credit report that involved dates. The error potentially implicated my x-husband in credit card fraud using my SS#. I went to the local Wells Fargo, who was reporting the error to verify or resolve the problem. I spend two hours with the branch manger who was great and resolved the problem with the exception of me requiring a letter to validate the information. A Wells Fargo representative gave the branch manager a number for me to call to complete the transaction. When I called I was told it was impossible to do that over the phone. From there is got worse. After speaking with 6 representatives at the phone number given things had only gotten worse. I took my money out of Wells Fargo years ago and have had years of bliss for that decision. I am trying to influence my current spouse to cut all ties with Well Fargo. I recommend to anyone to think many times before allowing Wells Fargo to become your financial institution. I tried to find a telephone number or email to file a complaint. I finally called a corporate number in San Francisco and was informed no one could take a complaint. How about that, can't complain about customer service because there is no customer service. I dare Wells Fargo to contact me. I have the names, dates, and times of every individual I spoke with. Please give me a call.
