What Happened to SERVICE

This Has been a TWO DAY project to try to get a Military round trip ticket for my son who has recently returned from Afgahnistan to come home to see his family for Christmas. The location where he is doesn't have an agent... So he is told to purchase the ticket online. When he tried to do this... The online site, nor the telephone purchasing agent he was referred to by the online support agent, were able to sell him a ticket. Then I became involved. We were told we could purchase a ticket by mail... But this required a 10 day notice (he wanted to leave on Monday - 4 days away). So we were referred to yet another number for my area to purchase a ticket... Even if we overnighted a ticket it would not get to him in time for him to leave... Because it is now Friday morning and he has guard duty this weekend. We were told last night that he could get on the bus and pay for a ticket at the next open station... So I called customer service to confirm that he could pay by credit card at which point I was told that he had to pay the driver cash and that there was then no guarantee that there would be room on the bus for him because he didn't have a ticket in advance. My son has served his country proudly... But I am not proud of the SERVICE he has recived from Gray Hound Bus!!!
