I am unhappy with Magic Jack - when I bought it one could change your phone number for free, once. I saved that for when I needed it, now I do and MJ now charges $10. Online CSR sent me all the legal jargon, the fine print about MJ having the right to change everything and anything - but ultimately it's about ethics. Terms for subscribers from before MJ changes should be respected, it's an ethical issue, not just because MJ thinks itself so smart to change things after I bought it. I am an unhappy customer, my MJ stopped working well long ago, spent hours troubleshooting with tech support and it never got fixed. My MJ DOES NOT ring, regardless what phone is attached, we tested all, downloaded all and was a big waste of time. I will not buy another one and much less ever recommend it, just because of the MJ policies - do not exchange, replace or honor anything.
