I was 'SLAMMED' by Priority One magazine subscriptions. I received unsolicited magazines
from "MAXIM", "MEN'S HEALTH', 'GOLF DIGEST', 'ENTREPRENEUR', and 'ESPN'. When I
called each magazine to stop delivery and to inquire about the subscription process, I was
informed that the order was placed by PRIORITY ONE SUBSCRIPTIONS. I informed each
magazine that I did not order nor authorize any magazine service to order a subscripion. I
was given the phone number for Priority One Subscripion service and I called to have my
name removed from their list of subscribers. They assured me that my name would be
removed from their list. They could not or would not tell me how they received my name for
any order. After receiving "ENTREPRENEUR', I called Priority One again to verify that my
name had been removed form ther data base. I was unable to reach Priority One as the
phone connection was garbled and unintelligible. I have made several attempts with the
same results. My fear is that I will continue to receive unsolicited subscriptions until some-
one begin some small claims litigation for collection of an unsolicited magazine sub-
scription.
