Begining Tuesday, Febuary 15 there was word going arround the store that there was no money for payroll. Thursday came along and the pay checks showed up right as I wars getting off my shift. The next day, Friday (pay day) the story changed. "The Payroll company droped the ball and the checks are not here.
"I spoke with the management about this and It resumed into an argument. I told them (Michael Ploss and Jessica hoisington) When you have my pay check I will return to work. I then left. At this point I had already decited to put in my two weeks notice.
The next morning I call and ask them if I can pick up my check. The employee on the phone (Theresa) Said yes but Jessica wants you to drop off you uniforms then you can get your check.
After speaking with employees over the 7 months i had this job. I learned That this has happined quite often in the past 3 years. I also spoke with the owner about this situation and he is quite missinformed about the situation. That conversation resumed into an argument aswell.
My intention in leaving the store was not to quit but show them im not going to stand for that nonsence. For the past 4 months I have been treated as a thret. They where quick to cut my hours when they found out I was conversating with the owner. They wont fire people because they dont wanna pay unemployment. I will add more later Im Sleepy.
