My wife and I paid John Leslie Hug $15,000 to make a music demo to promote for her. She is an amazingly talented singer. We went to a recording studio in Van Nuys, CA with John Leslie Hug. There we recorded 3 songs with studio musicians, a famous recording engineer from New York and John Leslie Hug "producing."
Not only did he fail to show up the second day, but he completely pocketed the money, did not pay the musicians, did not pay the studio and did not pay the engineer. As a result, the three recorded songs were never finished. We were given a rough demo not ready for promotion out of courtesy by the studio because they felt so bad about him stealing our money.
John Leslie Hug is a liar, with his claims of connections and stories he discusses about the music industry. He will play the victim telling you sob stories of his dead wife. Meanwhile, I do not know if his daughter is innocent, or in on the whole thing. We rode in the car with her and she didn't say a thing.
Many inside the music business knows he is a dirtbag. It is time the public knows that he is simply STEALING money and not providing anything in return.
DO NOT hire John Leslie Hug under any circumstances. There are several people he has ripped-off that we found later. He will steal your money
