I'd been scouring the net for a contemporary style round coffee table. This turned out to be a lot harder than it sounds. After ordering from one place and receiving a square table and having a really hard time sending it back and getting a refund, I was ready to give up online shopping.
Then I found Inmod and decided to give them a try. Of course some people have left bad reviews, but that happens to every company. I think what most people don't realize is that even if the online store is good, sometimes the suppliers or shipping companies aren't.
The ordering process with Inmod.com was really easy. Got the table I wanted for less than other shops. It was backordered so I patiently waited and it did ship a few days later than originally told. That was okay with me. The problem I had was with the shipping company. They lost my package and then found it a week later.inmod customer service stuck with me the whole way and called for me to get updates.
I'd definitely do business with inmod.com again. I had about 3 customer service reps helping me to get updates on the shipment and I did receive the table in perfect condition.
My advice to anyone wanting to buy furniture online is to research the supplier first, then find a shop who resells their items. Then look at the reviews for the online shop. If there are complaints about delivery then most likely it is the supplier or shipping companies fault. People seem to blame the online shop, but usually it's not because they are incompetent.
