It looks like tv guide magazine has a new scam going on (it's the second time a magazine has tried this same thing, the first was a wrestling magazine a few years ago)
Here is the way it works: First you will receive their magazine in the mail, then a few day later, they will send you a bill and thank you for your new membership subscription, even though you did not subscribe to it. They sent me a bill for $76.00 for 114 issues.
They don't give a phone number to call and if you try to contact them online, you have to sign up before you can even email them. (no way was I going to do that)
I took the bill they sent, put it in their return envelope with a nice little note (no money or personal information of any kind) and returned it to them. We'll see what happens.
I just wanted to let everyone know what they are doing so no one falls for their scam.
