I have looked for years for some sort of venue for reporting a pedophile that sexually abused me 30 years ago. It is too late to press any charges againist Fredrick H Turner. If this report helps someone else that has been his victim or gives awareness to the potential damage that Fred Turner can inflict on a young child; then I am glad to do this.
Fredrick Henry Turner was married to my father's cousin. She was paid to be responsible for caring for my brother and myself during a summer when I was 11 years old. During that summer her husband, Fred Turner molested me several times. He made threats that kept me from informing my parents.
When I was 15 years old, I visited the state where Fred and my Father's cousin had moved to. He again 'tried' to assault me. I told my Father's cousin what he tried to do again and told her what he had done in the past. She told me that she wasn't going to leave him based on the word of a 'teenager'. She had two young daughters and I hope to God he didn't do to them what he did to me.
I have lived with this for over 30 years. I have a great life and I have moved past this in some ways. But I remember everything; and my story hasn't changed. Please. If a child comes to you and reports sexual abuse, do not disregard this information because it is inconveniet. It could happen to your child too.
