So-Called "Customer Service"

I originally hooked up a Majic Jack phone line in July with a 2 year service purchase. Since I rarely used it, I didn't notice when the service ran out. After my "renewal" of service, which was supposed to be $19.95, I checked my account balance through my bank online. To my surprise, there was 5 (FIVE!) separate charges from Majic Jack, none of which were remotely close to $20; all of which totaled an astonishing $309.70! Upon trying to contact the company, I found only an online chat service on their website for customer service. Following some research time on the web, I found a contact number for them. I spent the next 45 minutes on hold; moreover, the customer service representative could find no evidence of my account or the multiple charges to my card. Finally, two chat representatives and nearly 3 hours later, a woman told me that she had filed the necessary reports to cancel my order altogether and that I would need to check back with my banking service to see that the charges had been removed. And here we are, two days later, and only 1 of the charges has been removed... The one for $1.00! Now I'm faced with the conclusion that the pending charges will go through and my bank account will then be overdrawn. This company needs SERIOUS work on their customer service. My recommendation would be to get out of the business and start their own telemarketing service; then, at least people would expect to get ripped off.
