MagicJack product is sooo much better than it's customer service, or should I say customer NO-service, because if ever one has problem and must contact company, that's exactly what one gets—absolutely NO-service. Phone number found for company answers to automated message that repeats same information over and over again.'Stupid' and 'unable to understand/comprehend most elementary information' must be 2 requirements to qualify for their chat agent job. MagicJack's billing practices should be unlawful, if not already that. When purchasing online, they immediately over-bills one's account by applying multiple charges. They then blame bank, telling customer bank did it—not magic jack, taking responsibility for nothing. Then they 'pretend' ('cause nobody can be that stupid get a real job—or maybe not) they don't understand customer's concern & just keep repeating same thing over and over and requesting same information over and over. Ask for supervisor and customer is 'transferred' to one of top 10 agents only to get stupid at a higher level—or maybe it's the same chat agent... Who can tell? Maybe right now Magic Jack's purse hasn't been affected by it's inept customer NO-service (can't bring myself to call it customer service because it's so far from being that). However, competition of its product technology is showing up more and more & they have customer service one can actually talk to and who give real results. Still, until magic jack feels it in their purse, nothing will change. If customer must have magic jack or magic jack plus, don't purchase it online even if offered free trial (google horror stories around that one—seems it's a trick, too). They're in stores, but check store's return policy before purchasing to make sure they'll refund if any problems. Meantime, there ought to be laws against the way Magic Jack online business operates.
