Booked Hotel Sonesta in New Orleans for 1/22-1/14/10 on orbitz. It was price guaranteed. Was offered an instant $50 rebate on bookit.com for the multiday stay. That was the entire price difference. Orbitz customer service supervisor "Christina" denied my price guarantee verbally insisting that the "rate" was the same (since she ignored the $50 instant rebate) when the terms and conditions of your price guarantee say "price" not rate. She also said there was no one else for me to talk to. Treated like a criminal trying to take advantage of you and your price guarantee rather than as a valued customer. Shame on you and your false advertising.
