I went to get gas this morning and my card came up declined. I knew i had at least 30 dollars in there last night. Well i went online today to notice that this company by the name of U CLIP COUPON took $19.99 out of my account. I contact the bank right away. They said i needed to contact the company for further information.
I called and spoke with a women and all she could tell me was if i had read the fine print i would of realized that i would be charged that. I pulled up my contract and no where on there did it state that a 3 rd party company was going to charge my account to clip coupons. I asked why they did not contact me to make me aware of this charge and she told me that it was none of there concern cause me as the customer should of read the fine print. I asked if this would be a monthly charge and she stated it would be. I asked the company to cancel the account and that if any more charges were found i would personally sue them for fraud and credit card theft! How can a company get away with doing stuff like this???
My bank said they really cant do anything for me, so i guess i get to eat 20 dollars! Get lesson learned.
