Ordered a computer which was listed on Amazon but handled and shipped from Adorama. It arrived on time but defective. Contacted Adorama, but they said that computers can't be exchanged or returned once the box is opened or unwrapped. Now I have no choice but to keep this defective machine. Simply seeing it would make me upset.
Since the order was placed via Amazon, it is not easy for customers to see the actual sellers' policies. Moreover, how would one know if a computer is not working properly without opening the box and trying it? This is not a fair trade and should not be tolerated by laws.
