HSS arranged for a contractor to install our new hardwood floors. The installation was HORRIBLE! I contacted them by phone (to no avail) and in writing (12/21/09). On 1/4/10 I received a reply to my letter stating that we had had the "corrective repairs made by someone other than the original installation company (Mickler Wood Floors) which invalidates the CPP.
In my letter I clearly write that I would NEVER have Mickler Wood Floors in my house again and would need to have the floors repaired—not that I had them repaired. The Customer Solutions rep obviously cannot read.
