This is a complaint about theft by deception and it seems to be their m.O. — on or about 17 august i ordered through amazon one welding torch —amazon sent the order to alexandra general supply &i recived a stripped down "body only"torch&it was missing 5 parts to make it complete —i called them the said it was someone else fault but they would send me a complete torch but i must pay agin or that they could send me the missing parts one at atime as they got them in and i would have to pay shipping and handling on each part $14.75-this mounts to 5 times 14.75 over seventy dollars all total adding the $40. I had all ready gave them&i finananly talked to the man in charge
he has kept promosing to make it good but has not now they just hang up on me i did buy another torch as i had jobs waiting "of which some i lost" cost me some customers
plus over $600.00 —amazon has never answered me &my credit card "debit"still has not helped me but in calling the people i have found back there —they have a bad rep—
i am sending leters to every one i can think of —even the Gov Christe&hoping they will be put out of business
Hope other people will not deal with amazon or these clowns
