I was recently shopping for a television for my parents... Upon deciding on a sylvania tv i proceeded to write a check for 417.00 dollars. Much to my surprise the clerk kept saying that my check was denied... I called my bank to verify it and they said it must be on targets end of the deal because there was no problem with my account.
When i finally got thru to the 800 phone # listed, it tells me they won't accept my check because i don't write enough large check amounts to target! What a silly reason. If it wasn't for the politeness of the employees i would of left the store and immediately would have given walmart my business!!! Unless this problem is repaired i know a lot of people that this has happened to including employeees of target!!! Several people i have spoken to have also decided it is not worth the embarrassment to shop for larger items if target really doesnt want their money!
