I had my house repiped by a company named Top Notch Plumbing and they broke my washing machine and still have not come back to finish the job after they have already been paid and Company Owner Chris Koch will not return any of my phone calls or emails. He also replaced my toilet and when he left it flooded the bathroom floor every time after you flushed. He did come back and fix it but had also left the old toilet in my flower bed and a bucket of old piping in my shower and left all trash out front of my house. It wasnt til I complained by email that he came back to pick any of there trash up. On there website they say and I quote "CleanIf our plumber doesn’t wear floor savers inside your home, or leaves your home without cleaning up, you don’t pay a penny." There saying is "Happy Today or you DON'T pay!" It also says on the guarentee and warranty sheet they give you that ""If you are not 100% satisfied with the service we have provided, we will refund ALL of your money. If our plumber (s) smoke or swear in your home; are not drug free; do not wear floor savers or leave your home without cleaning up, you do not pay for the service." They do not back there 100% satisfaction guarentee as promoted on there website. When I asked him why are they advertising this if there company doesnt back it up? He replied with "it doesn't mean exactly what it says because if I gave back all of everyones money who wasn't satisfied I would not be in business". I told him thats false advertisement. And for some reason he will not admit to me he is the owner. He has lied to me, my mother and husband on several occasions that a Demetrius is the owner and he isnt. But when you call the 1800 number they say Chris Koch is in fact the owner and Demetrius is just the technician. Also Chris Koch's name is signed under all the website info and guarantees. They left my house a mess and even after calling there UN mediation line 6 times they have not been able to resolve this matter. They are now saying that top Notch does not have a policy with them at this time and they cant help me escalate this matter. They told me they failed to pay the $20,000 bond to ensure satisfaction guaranteed thru them. But when I call the 1800 number for Top Notch they still direct me to the UN Mediation Line and say thats how Im supposed to get any issues resolved. It has been over a week that I paid $2,370.00 and they still are ignoring my calls and emails and are refusing to refund my money as guaranteed on there website and the warranty sheet they gave me. After telling Chris Koch I was going to call Channel 9 and take legal action if he does not finish the job he said he doesn't care what I do. The last time we spoke by phone he was loud with me and very unprofessional and laughed at me when I said I know your the owner, everyone is telling me you are so why are you hiding behind this Demetrius guy? Is it so you dont have to take responsibility for your mistakes? He sarcastically said ok your the professional, you know everything". He was very rude and I knew then that I wasnt going to get the job finished. So Im taking this matter into my own hands and contacting you for help. Maybe broadcasting them for the way there company really handles business will help another customer and save them a lot of time, money and frustration and know not to choose this company because they will not get the customer service or the quality as a reputable company. And if there really unlucky like I was they may be stuck with an unfinished job.
