I took my computer to the Geek Squad at Best Buy in Gateway mall, Brooklyn NY and their service is absolutely 100% deplorable.
On Sunday I took it in and was told they'd contact me if they needed to wipe the computer clean - either way - I should receive my computer with 2-3 days. Never received that call. On Friday I called and was told that they did indeed need to wipe the computer clean and that I should come in. I went that very night. Okay, they said, everything will be done by the end of tomorrow (Saturday). Well, today is Thursday and I thought I should "check-in" with them. The guy apologized and said it was ready 2 days ago.
It seems to be working the same way to me - $498 dollars later and I still have a virus.
