When I leased a car through Nissan, I set up a checking auto pay account. I left town and was gone for about 6-8 weeks to visit family. Someone at Nissan input the wrong information and I had someone's elses name and address on my NISSAN lease. Nissan make an ERROR. Now on my credit report it still states the other name as an aliase. I, in the mean time was under the understanding that my payments were on auto pay. So I thought nothing about the payments of the car lease and I was outof town so I was not reciving mail. Although upon returning home there was nothing in the mail form NISSAN in reference to making a monthly car payment. I took care of the payment before I left town, (on auto pay) so I didn't have to worry about making car payments while I was gone. Then someone finally called my home and he was from a collection agency. I told him I have not gotten anything in the mail and I was set up on auto pay. He told me I was 3 months behind in car payments. Before the end of that day I had wired all of the monies due to Nissan via Western Union to clear up their error. I had to pay a ton of fee as well due to their error. I have all of this paper work to back all of this verbage I'm stating in this statement. I even have bills address to the other name at my address, but that was months after the fact. You see I was not receiving the statements because they were going to someone else in Utica, NY. I had to call Nissan every month to tell that I was not this person Mary L. Brown. I told them I was Mary L. Xxxxxxxxxx. They made an ERROR and it has been a NEGATIVE on my credit report and will never go away. I have talked to Nissan and the credit companies on many occasions via phone, letters, and with information about my name. They finally changed my name on my bills and on their end but, I have received all of the NEGATIVE information along with it, due to their error. Plus I still have an aliase on my credit report, which really bothers me. Can someone please help me? I have all of the paper work to back everything I'm stating. This information is still on my credit reports and NiISSAN said they would take care of it so many times when I had called them. They had me in tears telling me I was someone else. I was begging them to help me and no one at NISSAN would.
