In April I purchased a Benron Equipment & Supply Inc - RotorTex 19-225 Texture Spray System as a distributor. This was to be re-sold to one of my customers.
As soon as we received the spray system we started testing the unit on an existing project following the enclosed instruction. We could not get the unit to work. Called Ron Z. At Benron Mfg - he told us that we had to use a priming solution to use this type of material (not in the instructions) So we located a local supplier of priming material - the next day, using the priming material, we tried again. The unit would not spray anything. We called Benron Mfg - Ron said that we should be using their Slick Tex priming material from Benron - We waited 3 or 4 days on SlickTex only to have the same problem. The RotorTex unit would not spray three different grades of Spray Coat products. We lost countless hours of man time not to mention a sale of equipment to our customer. During the start up of the spray system we asked Benron to come to our location to demonstrate how the system was supposed to work as per their explanations. They declined.in May we shipped the spray unit back to Benron in California.
As of June 26 we have yet to receive our credit card refund. ~$4800.00
