I went to Popeyes and got chicken, cole slaw, red beans and biscuits. I ate that food and got really sick. I went to the hospital and stayed overnight and part of the next day, which was Easter Sunday. I reported the incident, and their insurance called and said it was not their food. That was the only thing I had eaten that day, and I got sick through the night. I do not feel like I was treated right.
The insurance company said the doctor did not do the proper test to determine if I had food poisoning. My report says that I was ill from food poisoning and that I should never eat at that place again. I have no control over doctor reports. Was I supposed to tell the doctor what to do? I am not a doctor or nurse. I am a U.S. citizen standing up for my rights. They say no one else got sick. I cannot help that I got sick.
